This account exists more or less for me to be able to join communities that I lurk in. Sometimes I comment on other people's posts. Recently I discovered that having an outlet for teenage angst may be a good thing. Then I realised that this would make me the sort of LJ user that Fred Gallagher mocks in Megatokyo. Then I wrote fanfiction. Now I live in shame.

At least I pulled off an A- in my writing class.

So, to be more direct about it, this lj is for pretty much anything I want it for. Whether it's simply a convenient tracker for the comms I follow, a place to post research questions, angst, or for very rare fanworks, that's what I'll use it for.

...By way of actual information, I'm Canadian, although I attend university in the states. BYU, to be precise, which means that I am Mormon, although the content of this journal may not necessarily reflect this. Not that this is the secret heathen closet of heck... but I did find it necessary to not euphemise the term for an illegitimate child in a fanfic once.
